I've been around VB for some time now and I never gave this place a chance. That was a big mistake! The food there is amazing, the pool tables are nice and the staff is knowledgable with their brew selections. I had the pulled pork bbq and it was better than I expected. The pricing isn't all that bad either. Word to the wise, if you plan on visiting, go on Wing Night! I ate my sandwich and once I caught a whiff of those wings, I was hungry all over again! Be warned, the place gets crowded! All together, it was a great experience and I'll definitely visit again!

Arcade, pool tables, good food, great drinks, good music, great staff, affordable prices. I will be back.

Hands down the best pizza in Virginia Beach with the atmosphere to put it as a goto spot. When friends and family visit this is is always the best spot for large groups or small gatherings. Great pizza! Go with the signature sauce for that extra spice. The wings are big and moist unlike what you would find at hooters or Buffalo Wild Wings. Staff is always friendly and very quick with drinks and service. There is pool tables and a kids arcade that makes it my kids favorite spot to go eat.. Bye bye chucky cheese!! And then we have the bar. Great selection of crushes but more importantly craft beer. Selection of great local brews and always a bar special to goto. Pro tip: Sunday special (non-football season) is amazing. Extra large for 9.99 (I believe that's the price)....

I have seen Shorebreak a number of times and never stopped in to eat because I figured that it was nothing more than a typical pool hall with bar food... After my first visit there last night, I am here to tell you that I was wrong! My wife and I tried a variety of their wings and we were blown away. My favorite were the Garlic Parmesan Wings, they were crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked on the inside. My wife loved the Teriyaki and mild buffalo wings. We also ordered fried pickles and they were delicious too. I normally do not like fried pickle sin the spear form (normally only go for friend pickle chips) but the spear was battered perfectly and it was chopped up to make eating it less awkward. The service and food were fantastic. The only negative would be the plethora of screaming kids, but I can't blame them for having a good time. We will be return customers for sure.

Food: 8/10 Atmosphere: 7/10 Staff: 7/10 Overall: 8/10, really good choice of sports bar on Shore Drive near base. Good food, clean, good staff. Get wings and pizza and you wont be disappointed. My wife and I went here for the Final Four games. We got there around 5:30 or so (game started at 6 I think), we waited for about 10-15 mins standing at the bar and had some beer. They have a decent selection of drafts, they showcase their loval Virginia beers. We were seated near the pool tables, good views of all the TVs. The first time we came here for dinner we got non-typical sports bar food not thinking about it, (Sandwiches) and we weren't impressed. The second time around we got their pizza and hot garlic wings. The wings were really good, very tasty, not too hot. The pizza was a thin crust and it was very good, we were pleasantly surprised. The waitresses were busy, but overall friendly, they are all younger but are good at what t they do.

Shorebreak is a great sports bar. I love the atmosphere! The place is pretty big. They have one side for pool and in the back they have a mini game room. We ordered the steak bites and fish and chips. Both were delicious! We will be coming back and trying their wings since everyone is raving about them :)

Glad I decided to get one order of fries because it's definitely enough to share. I ordered the large pizza slice and garden salad, too. My salad was crisp and fresh! Very delicious. My pizza slice had mushrooms, onions, and spinach for my toppings. It was pretty darn good. Great place to hang out and watch the game and shoot some pool.

My boyfriend used to come here because he liked the waitresses's outfits. When he brought me here for the first time, he gave me fair warning, because they have my two favorite things, and they do them well: burgers and wings. Their burgers are really great: cooked perfectly, with a big patty that could be flavored just a tiny bit more, but overall, they're very, very tasty. Their wings, however, are amazing. They have so many different flavors, and they're a good size. You feel like you get your money's worth with these wings. I almost always want more than I order, so get more. I recommend their medium buffalo, mostly because I like a small kick, but I don't do well with super spicy food. You can pretty much watch any game that you want here, and sometimes there is a live band that plays mostly indie rock. Shorebreak is no frills, and the food is simple and very tasty.

Gotta love this place! If you are an avid USMNT fan like myself, and you don't know about this place; what are you doing? It's the location for the 90th chapter of the American Outlaws. We love to get rowdy and cheer on the Yanks! if there is a game going on, you bet your bottom dollar we are in here singing at the top of our lungs. Please feel free to come and join us! The staff has been so grateful to our cause to support the team. They let us use a whole side of the restaurant during big games to cheer and jeer. Cannot thank them enough for that! The food selection is a little bland, hence the four star rating, but good nonetheless. They have a signature pizza sauce that has a little bit more of a kick in the tomato sauce than regular. Not really my thing since I am a wimp when it comes to hot stuff. My wife loves the fried pickles, and the beer selection isn't too bad. The bathrooms can get a little bit crowded if the place is packed since they aren't the largest ones I've seen before. Other than that, friendly staff, great environment, and go USA!!!

Nice set up. We came here for a Yelp Christmas party last night and had wings, pizza, & quesadillas. Decent! Not the worst and not the best. My favorite was the wings. Lots of beer choices of course. I had 2 glasses of Bold Rock cider. It's the closest to beer I'll get; just not a beer kinda girl. If you like pool and bar food, this would be the perfect place for you!

I came here last week for Yelp's Holiday social and I'm truly glad I came. We were early as always but was seated by the friendly staff right away. Being that we brought our daughter and knowing how she is (or maybe the NOT knowing how she is) going to behave made us prompt to order food for her pretty shortly after we sat down. Their menu sure had items on it that I was eager to try, but I held back and waited. When the rest of the yelpers had arrived the food started coming out and yuumm, it was all good. I in particular liked the wings, spicy yet not spicy. If I lived on that this side of the water I would surely come to this place more often, it seems like a cool place to hang out, grab a snack, and play some pool. I would like that. But, being that we are a good 45 drive away I guess we'd have to pick our time when we go here, and then there is the thing with Dish being on the other side of the street kind of makes it hard for me to chose. But one thing is sure, I want to try their nachos! Overall, a cool place. Friendly staff. And good food.

Great pizza!!! Beers are a bit expensive, 4.25 for a Coors Light, but great food, pretty bartenders, lots of TVs, playroom for the kids and really good pool tables make up for it. Lots of pool tables.

I've only ever been here for events so I'm not sure what regular dining service is like. I've been here for holiday parties as well as a charitable community fundraiser. The staff are very friendly and have a great attitude from my experience. The pizza is good as well as the wings with that sweet glaze...yummmm. They have a great area that can be reserved for events. You have access to the pool tables (after a certain time they are only for use by those 18 and up). There is tons of seating, bar stool style and tall backed chairs all at tall tables. When you have events you let them know how many people need to be served and the food is set up buffet style and refreshed until the set amount runs out. Event parking can be tight if your party is on a busy dining night but this is a great family friendly venue with a relaxed atmosphere. P.S. For the charitable event the organizers were able to bring in a live band and decorate the event section.

Great local place! Felt like home our waitress was Alexis and was so sweet the pizza was great and so was the deal for it! Very clean and would recommend to anyone looking for some good food!

Well, I have officially tried this place 5 times and realized I have not written a review yet. I have been here twice for the Yelp Christmas party (2013 and 2014). I also ordered "to go" a few times. I just recently went for dinner with family on New Years day. Every time we have eaten here the food was very good. My favorite is the pizza. I am torn between the sauces though. I really like their sweet tomato sauce (which my kids prefer), but I also like the kick in their signature sauce. It goes great with the pepperoni pizza! I have extended family that need gluten free, and they loved their gluten free pizza. Even though it is a sports bar, they still tend to keep it family friendly, which I appreciate. My kids colored and played some games until their food came. My husband and I watched a game and enjoyed our drinks until the food came. The service was very good and the prices were reasonable. We will be returning.

Great hand made pizza, awesome wings. Daily specials. Kid friendly. Plenty of parking and seating. Best of all...the deliver to you on the beach, beer too! It's a local dive that's worth checking out, great people, hometown atmosphere, pretty great "bar" food and above average beer & tap selection. Never disappointed.

On the middle of the fence. I visited Shorebreak again the other day, roughly 10 months since my first initial review and hungry for some pizza. Upon arrival I was saddened that the smallest pizza I could order was still 16". I know they still have a 12" gluten free frozen pizza. It would be nice if they offered a size smaller than 16"; last time I checked the super-size-me era ended in 2005. As with more modern pizza places offering their customers a small 10" or "super-slices", medium 12-14" and large 16+" pizza's. I can usually put away almost all of a 12-14 medium pizza myself. A 16' pizza is just way too big for a single person to eat in one sitting and purchasing a few separate "super- slices" seems almost redundant. However since pizza was now out of the question, I sided with the Flounder BLT w/ sweet potato fires, which was indeed pretty tasty which I made short work of rather quickly. On a good note was the extreme attentiveness of the wait staff at the bar, one of the few things that is really hard to find nowadays. I stopped in around 9pm and Liz greeted me at the bar and took both my drink and food order. Kaithlynn was also very courteous behind the bar as well. Awesome job in my book! Lastly a big thank-you to Brett for replying back to my first review, it's always inspiring that a business actually takes the time to read and make a comment back on Yelp's reviews of their business. Again it just shows how truly committed Shorebreak is to serving their customers a huge plus in my book. **Truth; in reality you can't win them all, but next time I'll be sure to bring some extra hungry mouths along to conquer that 16" pizza and hopefully more. LoL Cheers!

We ordered the bbq chicken pizza and fried pickles. The first complaint is the fried pickles were not properly battered. There was more batter in the container then on the pickles. The bbq chicken pizza was ok but if we order it again would to see more chicken. Also we will order it without the green peppers. All in all I don't think it was worth $30.00.

I travel to Virginia Beach for work about every month, and I'm glad I found Shorebreak. There's no other place near JEB Little Creek where I'd rather drink a beer while watching a sporting event. They have an excellent draft beer selection, and they put effort into their food. This is particularly refreshing, as they could just sit back and let the attractive wait staff bring people in. Julia and Katie are great behind the bar, but everyone is very attentive and fun to hang out with. This is a solid place to catch a game.

Wow. The food was better than expected. Really good bacon cheese burgers & the fish n' chips were really good. The batter on the fish n' chips was very crunchy & the fish was cooked to perfection.

They have the best buffalo chicken sandwich- it's huge! Cheap Sunday pizza specials during the summer.

I remember their pizza being better. We got pizza and it was very bland. The service was great. We also got the artichoke dip and it too wasn't very good. It was dry and very salty. I don't think I'll be going again.

Driving to the beach is hard for me, but this place may be worth the drive. The pizza is good, I liked the crust but I REALLY liked their wings. I was there in the winter time, so parking wasn't too bad but the place was pretty busy for a weeknight. I can only imagine what it's like during the summer months. It is also a family friendly environment. My friends and I thought it was a cool place to hangout at and play pool, just wish it was closer to home. Everything had a great price point and service was surprisingly good. Usually in a bar area, I expect the same thing I would in chain restaurants but the servers at Shorebreak were pretty hospitable. The place is huge, and I was there for a large party so that's a plus that everyone was great even with a large group. Will definitely be coming back soon!

So, they have great pizza, but it's what's not pizza here that is the real kicker. My two faves are the nachos and the greek salad. The nachos are among my top 2 in HR--really! Imagine huge piles of yummy in just the right amount of layered proportions. The Greek salad is large enough to feed Andre the Giant, full of freshness and no slackin' on the feta. If you are just having salad for one, just get the small version, which is still a whopper bowl-full. They also have some of the best buffalo wings...really! When I go for pizza, I love the Signature Sauce which is pretty much the Chicho's spicy sauce. One negative is I can't understand why every time I try to order extra sauce, they just don't get it--just give me extra sauce on my pizza. Instead, they end up bringing out a ramekin of freaking cold sauce...please figure this out and at least know better than to give folks cold sauce for their hot food. Otherwise, the beer is cold and the opportunity to play skeeball and pool is an added bonus. Pizza is real cheap on sundays, dine-in only...XL pizza only 6.99. And, yes, they deliver!

I loved that this place had arcade games for kids that gives out tickets for prizes and a pool table for the adults to enjoy with beer and alcohol!! I had the turkey burger with fries & the burger was soooo good! It was def the best turkey burger I've ever tasted. I also tried some wings that my friend had & loved the breading on them! I'm going back again just for the wings. I also had the artichoke dip with the bread. Wasn't a big fan of the hard bread but loved the dip. This place is def worth checking out for a family outing or just with friends.

Overall a great sports bar and restaurant. TV's everywhere, the food is pretty good, and they have a good selection of beer on draft. Great place for a meal and watching whatever sporting event you're looking for.

  • Xerxes N.

So if you order the nachos prepare to share it with four of your friends. It literally is as high as a mountain. It will feed the entire table and you need nothing more to satisfy your hunger for the rest of the week. And it is damn good, too. The staff and managers are always awesome and friendly to deal with. Many charitable events take place there. It's just a cool ass spot to hang out and it's nice to know that these folks are charitably inclined and always open to supporting the community.

I just stopped in here in Jan while my brother was in town. It was pretty late in the evening at this point however my brother wanted pizza and he wanted it from Shorebreak. By pretty late I would say it was roughly 30 minutes or so before the kitchen was going to shut down. However our bartender took care of us and had our order in immediately and full beers in front of us. About 12-13 minutes later we had a piping hot pizza sitting in front of us and 'Game On!'. Needless to say a short time later, the pizza was consumed and we were on our way as they were closing up. Excellent meal. Great service and good company all around. I'm looking forward to my next trip back.

Everything was outstanding! From the fried pickles to the house salad to the veggie pizza (with signature sauce) and the Oreo milkshake, this place didn't skip a beat. Add in all the TVs to keep up with college basketball and a server (Peyton N) who was as excited about our menu choices as we were and what you wins up with is a satisfied customer who plans to visit often. Thanks for such a great experience!

  • Curtis M.

My wife and I went here for a Yelp event and we had a great time! The pizza was pretty good, the wings and quesadillas were tasty and, most importantly, the beer was cold. Shorebreak has billiards, a basketball game, and ski ball in the back as well to keep the good times rolling. They are also serving a special Cosmopolitan that has nutmeg in it so it really fits the Holiday Season...I highly recommend it. Thank you for a great time.

This is a great place for watching sports. They have TV's everywhere. You can't turn your head without seeing a TV. So for the sports fans, this place is great. For the non-sport fans, it's still great because the food is good. I mean, it's standard bar food, but they try to jazz it up with fancy plating. The blackened tuna bites are always good. Their pizza is delish! You can order a slice or a whole pizza. My fiance always orders the wings and devours them. They do a great blackened tuna sandwich too! Beer on special and a great sports atmosphere make this a great place to go for Saturday college football, Sunday NFL games, baseball, hockey, basketball...you name it they'll put it on the TV for sure.

I'm ashamed of myself for never writing a review for here! Hands down best pizza in VB, awesome wings, steamed shrimp, and the bang bang shrimp is my favorite! My boyfriend & I frequent here at least once a week. Staff & managers are always accommodating & super friendly!!

the reviews on here don't lie. was in VA camping this week, popped in for the liverpool match this morning. the staff was great and attentive. the wings were top class. dana at the bar was awesome, aaaand had a very impressive hockey knowledge. will come back next yr for sure...ohhhh but the god awful MUFC flag should be taken down, and replaced with a proper footy team flag like LFC ;) cheers!

Shorebreak is one of my husband and I's go to places for good pizza and nachos, when there's a good game on or when we just want to have a laid back meal. The macho nacho with the homemade chili on top is one of my absolute favorites, I've never had any better nachos than Shorebreak's nachos! We also love the pizza, both the signature and traditional sauces are delicious! You definitely can't go wrong with a pizza from Shorebreak and another plus we love is that they deliver!

Shorebreak Pizza, Where to start? From the minute you pull into the parking lot, smelling the delicious aromas of pizza, wings, and disappointment from your favorite sports team, the ambience is just what you are looking for. Have you ever had a beer and pizza in the same night, if not at the same time? If not, you need to get up and go right now. It is truly a blessing and experience worth the trip. From the well stocked bar, to the pool tables, and the 10,000 square feet in between, this is the "hip" place to be. Two waitresses in particular keep a fellow CEO and myself coming back time after time. Peyton, a lovely redhead who truly redefines the stereotypical image portrayed for the entire race (in a good way) is the best server that walks the 757 area. She can carry a tray with 30 pizzas on it in one hand, and a crate of Apple juice in the other while still maintaining the glimmering smile on her face. On a birthday, she will lead the charge in, singing and serving the finest jingles and cakes around. A true class act, this one. During one visit on a very busy weekend night, I even saw her stop mid shift to help a sad child with his homework. Later on I found out that he was attending a birthday party but wasn't allowed to go to the game room until be finished his assignment. She was dedicated to see he made that night memorable. I may be out of my jurisdiction to assign this, but server of the year 2014-5! The second of the "A" team is a gal named Hilly, but most people there just call her Bill for some reason. Her name tag says Haley though, so that is probably the preferred proper noun if you want to be polite. Numerous times, whether being our sever or not, she has helped with our orders and gotten drinks for us if things were taking too long or our assigned server was held up. I recently looked up the word "teamwork" in Urban Dictionary, and by God, what do you think came up?: Haley Hilly Bill Martinez. Dedication, patience, and friendliness are three traits that you will find relevant within her timely greeting. The beer on tap is always of good variety and high quality, priding themselves in serving some of Virginias finest microbrews. Cold, fresh, with a splash of alcohol leads to a fun night with great people! I have been back before and will continue to come back for years to come. Love always, Tan Man Dan

We decided to try shorebreak tonight..from the reviews it seemed like a good place to go..especially for the pizza. Well......our choice was a HUGE mistake! First off let me say the pizza came in ONE size..and it started at 13.99..it was thin and didn't taste all that great..and it was really small. .u better getting a hot n ready from Little Caesar's. We also ended up getting the special bogo burgers..which the waitress forgot to put in our order and it took about 30 mins to get. On another note the manger was really nice about the mistake and he took the charge off of our bill..we still ended up paying 28.99 for the sad pizza and 3 drinks...I would say this place is overpriced and the food isn't that great. On the positive side the waitresses were really nice and friendly.

Just a follow up. If you're a fan of chicken wings, they have about a dozen flavors. From traditional Buffalo (hot & medium) to Jamaican Jerk (off the top of my head, Garlic, Fire, General Tso) available as large wings or all white meat strips. Very tasty, I'm a wing eater & I'd return for more.

A VB favorite. Very attentive staff. Went during the Super Bowl, and despite there being a zillion customers, they made time to check back with us several times, refill our drinks and so forth, without overdoing it. It was reassuring though, because I thought to myself, "Oh no, it's going to be impossible to get a beer tonight," but it wasn't the case at all. Their pizza with the standard spicy house snauce is fantastic. Oh, forgot to mention they're one of the only restaurants with RETRO pinball goodness in the back... They have Sunday specials on XL pizzas, another good thing.

We just wanted to sit back with some pizza and beverages so I hit up you Yelpers and chose Shorebreak. This was our first adventure to this venue and we were surprised at how large it is inside and more surprised at how many people were in there at 5:30 on a Saturday night. Oh, it's a sports joint and there was a big game on, got it. We were told that half time would be in about 25 minutes so some tables would open up and hey, they know what they are talking about. We have a beverage at the bar and in 25 minutes half time came and we got a high top with captain chairs, very nice, felt like kings and queens. Ordered the fried pickles and a bowl of oyster soup (maybe stew). The pickles were a disappointment. I was expecting long spears but they were small cut up pieces that the breading fell off of. The horseradish sauce was very good (but missing in my to go box) and the accompany cole slaw was a welcomed cool down but soggy. The oyster soup was amazing. Ok, delicious. Not more to say, I think you got my point. There is only one size of pizza, 16 inch, way too big for the two of us but it freezes. Here's the problem. There are three sauce choices. "Sweet tomato", house "with a little bit of heat" or a white sauce. We ruled out the white sauce first, then didn't want sweet so we choose the house with mushrooms and pepperoni. Food came very quickly but the entree didn't come until we were done with the apps, A + for that. The pizza was hot as in temp., a very good thing but then it went downhill. That "little bit of heat" was a medium on the hot wing scale almost on it's way to hot. Half of a piece had my taste buds doing a blister dance. Hub can handle more but he also had that too spicy dance. Three pieces out the rest 'to go" . Not sure what I'm going to do with it, hub leaves again on Monday. Our server was extremely good. Not sure of her name, started with an A and she needs a new name tag because hers if faded. Another good note, there were kids all over the place. They were happy and safe. This is a good place for them. Unlike the crying baby I wrote about in an earlier review. I think $47.00 ish. Next time the "sweet sauce" hoping it's a standard pizza sauce.

This is that place I would always want to hang out. Just a great vibe, relaxed and has something for everyone. Pool tables, bar, sports, arcade machines. A place I could take (someone else's) kids to, that late night drink with friends, or the perfect spot to catch the game. An over due review for the CMYE over the holidays. We had a sampling of the pizza, salsa, cheese, and wings. The spread just kept coming. Hot and tasty. I was surprised at how well they ran the event. They were incredibly kind and generous, I may have to say that it is my favorite yelp event to date. I was DD, but that didn't stop our waitress, Tiffany. She was almost more conscientious about me, my water glass was never empty. It was a near ninja like performance. Besides her mad crazy skills, she was funny and cool to be around. The owner came by a few times to check on us, but it was never a production. We showed up, and it was "welcome and enjoy." I had a blast.

I have no clue if the food is any good here but the service sucks. We went on a sunday night and it was not busy. We were able to get one round of drinks and were then ignored by the many waitresses who were too busy socializing to notice empty glasses at our table. no one even brought our check. We finally left cash on the table and left. Horrible horrible service. Find someplace else to go if you appreciate attentive service.

Food: Great pizza. Best in the area. Wings and salad are good, but I go here for the pizza. Good beer selection. Ambiance: great for families, but I've only eaten at a table on Sunday afternoons. Not sketchy, but not stuffy, either. Service: as good as the pizza

Great bar atmosphere, games and pool tables can keep you entertained if the huge TV's can't . Food is good, nothing to shout from the roof tops, the shrimp by the pound or half pound is pretty damn good though. Really good specials during the weekdays. Good Place for sporting events!

Great place to watch football and UFC. Tasty pizza, get it with the spicy sauce..yummy! Waitress are always friendly, and wear fun outfits. Managers are always on hand to make your experience a good one.

Update: During football season..this place kinda sucks. They won't seat you until a game is over...b/c they try to keep the games in certain places. While I get this idea...it's a bit too controlled. We no longer enjoy Shorebreak for games....which is a bummer..b/c that's when I used to love going there!

Pizza was pretty good and reasonably priced with spicy sauce and fresh toppings. Service was lackluster, and beer was pricey for a sports bar. They seem to be going for a Hooter's vibe in terms of ambiance.

Shore Break has great bar food, the cheese steak & wings are my favorites. The pizza is good a bit overrated if you ask me There is lots of room and options on gameday. On Sundays they cover a few pool tables and have community area. Great way to fit everybody in. The waitstaff dresses well & is usually pretty talented (grin). On the downside they could use an upgrade the TVs and there can be a lot of kids there at the wrong times. Not that I'm a kid hater or anything but if you're an overly excitable sports fan that sometimes lets the F-bomb drop this might not be the best place for you.

Shorebreak is the absolute best place for NFL and College Football watching in Virginia Beach. I have spent many, many Saturdays and Sundays here over the years and it is always a pretty good crowd. It was the bar of choice for taking out of town guests to for great game watching. Some great features: - pretty tasty food - I would order the pizza as takeout even if I wasn't staying for the game because I thought it was the best. You have to make sure that you remember the big coupon sheet they give you when you order to get the best combo deals. - excellent play area for the kiddies - this was always a big selling point for my friends with kids because they could turn their little guys loose in the back corner with a couple bucks and we could buy 15-20 minutes of peace to watch the game - Great beer options - if you are going to be a regular attender, you should definitely buy the giant 22oz football glass. It seems like a bit of a ripoff at the time, but it pays for itself within a few beers for the discount you get. Plus, it is always the glass that friends request when they come over to the house. The beer towers are pretty overpriced and kind of gimmicky, but make a strong statement when your table is serious about beer and football. I can't really comment on the pool table element because I never shot pool, but there were always a lot of people over there playing. Overall, I think Shorebreak is far and away the best option for sportsbar action in Va Beach!

I found Shorebreak Pizza to be a fun sports bar. There are plenty of big screens to watch the action, the waitresses are cute, and there is a healthy beer selection. For food, I had the hot wings and garlic hot wings. They were good overall, but I found them a bit greasy. The waitresses were attentive and made sure our beers remained full. It wasn't obnoxiously loud inside, which made it all the more enjoyable. Sports bars are for sports and chatting with friends, not clubbing and dancing, and Shorebreak remained true to that concept.

Best pizza ever. Lot's of big screen tv's to watch games on. Serves food late. Great service. Definitely reccommend the pizza.

So going to watch my favorite team and wanted to make sure I had a great seat. I went to a few different sports bars to preview where I wanted to be and loved the setup and number of screens available at Shorebreak. I was allowed to reserve a booth and they had it even when I arrived 15 min beyond the agreed time. The food and service where great from the tuna bites, boneless chicken wings and philly steak pizza we consumed. The drinks where great and the football shaped beer mug you can refill and keep sealed the deal. Great time and Great place, Pool and some video games make it an all around place to go.

We are locals and this is our family "go to" for dinner out (we have an 11 year old). The pizza is always very good, the wait staff is EXCELLENT, my AZ Cardinals hubby loves all the sports-centric TVs and my girl enjoys the video games and has mastered the "Claw" machine! Oh, and they offer pitchers of beers... if you're looking for upscale cuisine, laid back atmosphere, this ain't it. But if you want a casual, fun evening, great service with your family, this is perfect! OH, try to avoid any football day and generally weekdays are less busy too.

This is a great place to watch NFL games and eat pizza. The pizza is amazing! If you come here you have to build your own pizza. My regular: Hand tossed, Shorebreak signature sauce (gives it that nice "kick" I'm looking for), bacon, spinach, and pepperoni. The best pizza I've had in town. The waitresses are wonderful! They are kind, polite, and always make sure your glasses are never empty! On Sundays, make sure you get there plenty of time before your games kickoff because it seems to always be crowded!!! Nothing like Sunday night football, beer, and pizza! I suggest this place to anyone who loves football and their beer and wouldn't mind grabbing a slice of pizza. They even seat in sections where your game is playing, best place I have been to in town.

This is the type of place you want to go and just chill with your friends. Pool tables, large flat screen TV's playing sports, lots-o-beer and really good bar food. I just went to a CMYE (community manager hosted yelp event) and Shorebreak Pizza went above and beyond for our group. Now, typically .. one has to wait quite a bit to get a drink order for a place this size and a group as large as ours, but our girl Tiffany was there doing her thing and doing it good. I will have to say my initial reaction to the pizza was .. just meh .. but honestly .. I think it was too hot when I first bit in. My second (cooler) bite was definitely better. The salsa had a small kick to it but it didn't hurt and the wings were good, too. I only had the bbq because I don't handle heat that well but it was tasty, tender, sweet and sticky. The ranch dressing was super noms and I probably ate about 5 sticks of celery drenched in ranch. All in all, if you're looking for a gathering place with your friends and enjoy beer and great bar food as well as being able to play a competitive game of pool this is definitely the place. Competition not necessarily required.

Solid establishment. I've been in VA Beach for 2 months and this place is my go-to. Awesome food, awesome beer selection, friendly staff, and over all just a good time. Shout out to Lucy, the funny talking Brit, awesome bar keep, she'll take care of you. Cheers folks.

This is my favorite place to watch NFL games that isn't my home. Granted, it's expensive. But, they have some excellent pizzas: I'm a fan of the "Soprano" with "signature" sauce (they say it's spicy, but I think it's pretty mild), which is a multi-meat pizza including Virginia ham ("country ham" for you people who are actually from Virginia). There's also an excellent vegetarian Greek pizza. Other food is also good: their fried pickles are delicious and unique compared to the fried pickles I've had elsewhere, since they chop pickle spears into a few chunks and fry those chunks in a fish-and-chips style beer batter. And one time I came and they had buffalo fried oysters as a special. I generally don't eat oysters, since they're typically slimy and taste like the ocean, but my girlfriend convinced me to try the buffalo fried oysters and I actually kind of liked them. The main reason I like this place for the NFL games, though, isn't the food. It's the seating arrangement and atmosphere. There's TVs all around the perimeter, plus a few big-screens, and they do community seating at some real big tables. That's good fun, since they'll put you at a table with a bunch of strangers who are there to watch the same game as you.

The gluten free beers here are Redbridge (by Anheiser Busch) and they also have Angry Orchard. There is a 12 inch gluten free pizza available (I think it is $8.99) and my fellow gluten free friend ordered the tuna bites gluten free and they were served that way with a wasabi mayo on the side. He said they were tasty! I personally did not eat the food, as I'd already eaten, but was happy to see some GF options other than steak or a salad. Kudos to Shorebreak!

A keeper for sure! We enjoy Shorebreak for the food and the atmosphere. We love the televisions all around the place to be able to watch our teams. It is a great place for families as well as couples just out for a comfortable dinner. The beer selection is very good, and the food is always nicely prepared. Today was the 10th time we have been in a couple years (for us, that's a lot!). We tend to get appetizers and share them. Tonight we had the guacamole which was incredibly fresh with big hunks of avocado. They serve it with chips and a salsa. The salsa also had huge chunks of tomato. We also had a quesidillas and it came already cut to share. I do wish it had more salsa, but I'm sure they would have brought us more if I had asked. The waitresses are cute in their referee uniforms and they are helpful to each other and to the customers. We will return for sure.

I was rather disappointed this time. There is some weird smell in the place right now, not sure if they are having issues with there a/c or something. I think they need to clean out there beer lines too, I tried three different beers while I was there and they all had a off taste to them. Overall food was on target for beer food, good service, and overall a fun place. I think I just caught them on a bad night.

We had dinner and drinks for a party of 9 at Shorebreak this past Thr night while visiting my oldest son who moved to VB in Jan. My son and his room mate recommend this it as great local sports bar and it did not disappoint. While the exterior is nothing to write home about (please don't let this stop you), the interior is very nice with lots of TVs and sports decor and they have a very nice food and drink menu. The service is excellent. Very good margaritas and a nice selection craft beers. We ordered a variety of burgers, pizza, tacos salads and everyone enjoyed the food. They also have pool tables and video games areas separate from the dining area. Highly recommended for all types.

Besides feeling like a minority, the place is good for groups. Tonight there's a live band that I really enjoyed. The pizza was satisfactory. Their sweet tea was not the bomb.com so I got water instead. The atmosphere was great because of the live band but I felt like people would stare at our table a lot because we were of color.

I was looking for something new, something different. I patronize half a dozen pizza joints in the Hampton Roads area. I rarely venture down Shore Drive, but I thought I'd give Shorebreak Pizza and Taphouse a try. My research was not that extensive. I trust my fellow Yelpers to steer me in the right direction. I should admit, however, that if it's pizza and Joe D. has been there and gives it an A-OK, then I'm there. The parking lot was packed when we arrived; I was sure we wouldn't find a table. Plus, college football was on television. We were in! The venue itself is huge - a number of pool tables to the right as you walk in, several seating areas with tables and booths, a large bar area to the right, and a smaller one with high tops to the left. We were seated right away in the bar area to the left with the taps in plain sight; I enjoyed the view of at least 10 drafts on tap. We had televisions all round as well, so we could enjoy 3 or 4 different games from around the country. We had a great wait person; she even got some support from others in the area; I worked in the business before and teamwork really takes the pressure off of one person and makes a better experience for the patrons. Yes, you can probably turn that table quicker too. We started with the wings. We choose 20 wings and four sauces - Med Buffalo, Teriyaki, Honey Mustard, and Jerk. The Honey Mustard and Jerk wings were a tie; for $14.99, there were just OK. I felt the sauces were a bit factory and the size of the wings were more BWW, smaller than expected. We went for the "All the Way" pizza. It's topped with the Works - almost a deluxe with a few additions. It was a great pizza - 16 inches, hand tossed, with the signature sauce which was supposed to be a bit spicy. I eat Thai, Korean, and Szechuan - it wasn't 'that' spicy. The size was just right for three guys with their paws wrapped around a Smartmouth Alter Ego who just wolfed down 20 wings. The atmosphere at Shorebreak was lively without being too loud. Our wait staff was very attentive and even talkative. Shorebreak has just been added to my shortlist of pizza joints in the Hampton Roads. I guess I have to spend a bit more time on Shore Drive; there may be a few more hidden gems to discover.

Despite the fact that they don't offer the pay per view events, they proudly proclaim the following on their website: "Shorebreak is your UFC Headquarters in Virginia Beach" That's like McDonald's advertising ice cold beer... Edit after owner response (5 stars; previously 2 stars): Thank you for taking the time to thoughtfully respond to the above criticism... given your explanation, I've edited my rating to reflect the quality of the food, attentiveness of the waitstaff, atmosphere of the physical premises, and overall value... which certainly meet and exceed expectations. Looking forward to spending many more non-UFC nghts at Shorebreak. Thanks again for the response.

Everything we ordered was AMAZING. I wanted wings and pizza, and I got exactly that. Ordered fried pickles which was a dill pickle deep fried and cut into 3/4-1inch pieces. The batter was homemade and so delicious. Then we ordered medium buffalo wings, which were impeccable. It was the perfect amount of crispy crunch on the outside and still juicy and delicious on the inside. The sauce was the perfect amount of heat and sweet too. Probably one of the best wings I have had in a while. We ordered one of the specials, a Chicago deep dish pizza on top of all that, and I am pretty sure our eyes were way bigger than our stomachs. Chicago deep dish takes about 30 minutes to cook in general, and we ddin't mind the wait. A decent size pie, and extremely delicious. The signature tomato/pizza sauce had a great flavor, the cheese on the pizza was just right. It was filling, and ended up eating 1 slice per person and taking 6 slices home!! Didn't try the traditional pizza, but it looked pretty awesome too. Definitely would come here again. I was surprised that such a delicious place, decently priced, sat right next to the beach!! You won't be disappointed!

We stopped by this place on our way in to town. While the service was not stellar (not overly attentive) it was okay. The food was on the better end of things. Yummy Asian salad. The other plates in the group were pretty tasty too. Worth a stop for bar-ish type food or to watch a game.

Several pool tables, plenty of seating for large parties, several TVs for watching sports, a great beer selection, attentive staff, and a small arcade in the back make this a great all around hang out spot. I've been to a few events at this location and also dropped by after kickball league games, and always had a good time. Pizza is also above average although it doesn't compare to a brick-oven floppy slice from NYC (I'm a little bit of a pizza snob).

I went to this place after having moved to the Norfolk area for military purposes. I was looking for a sports bar that had a lot of tvs so I could watchy favorite football team play. The location is great and there is plenty of parking. It is clean, contemporary, and priced reasonably. I made a reservation based upon other reviews which wasnt too bad of an idwa because it was a bit crowded but not absolutely necessary. You can use an online feature to make a reservation which was great. Wjen I walked in I was greeted by friendly staff and when I asked for a seat where I coukd watch my team on tv they were very accommodating and sat me where my team was on a huge projection screen. They have multiple projection screens so just about every game is on a big tv. There were multiple sections, each with a big screen as noted above and some smaller tvs for the other games. They have free wifi, which is good for fantasy football updates and whatnot. The tables are large and very roomy. They can easily accommodate large parties, too. This place wasnt bad at all, until I met my waitress. Maybe she wasnt having the best day, but she seemed a little unhappy and was very slow with service. I was served about one beer a quarter and I couldn't find her to request another. It was so bad that this is the main reason for 3 stars instead of 4 or 5. The food was good, not too bad but definitely not 5 star. Then again its good bar food. I had the boneless wings and my friend bad bone in. Mine were fine but my friend said the bone In wings tasted a bit soggy, as if they had been sitting a while. They do have a few pool tables, 4 or 5 of them that I saw. I also saw a sign that said during happy hour (which mon-fri 4-6 pm) any drink is $3 and they offer free pool. Seems like a great deal I will have to try. All in all a good place I may head back to and hopefully get a better server.

Good place to watch football... Pizza isn't the best. The burgers are my fav! Sometimes when they are busy they seat you at someone's table with no spots between the parties it's very uncomfortable.

The good - nice staff, clean place, wing sauce was good. The bad - wings were the smallest I have ever had. Some smaller than my pinky. Over-breaded! They call themselves a "Taphouse" but only have domestic regular stuff on tap and no real beer or ciders. Very disappointing. They seem to be trying to appeal to everyone but strike out. Get rid of half the menu, beef up your beers and be original. The ugly - girls with MMA tshirts, streaked hair and smokers hack who were shooting pool.

I went in there for a few drinks and a snack and was thoroughly impressed. The wait staff ALWAYS checked in on us, were very attentive but not intrusive, and the pizza I bought was great! They also had a good sangria. Check out their Tuesday Burger and Wednesday Wing specials!

One of my favorite places in the area. My friends and I go there often to shoot pool and have a few drinks. The wings and fries are great. And the pizza isn't too bad either. The staff is super friendly, and the TVs are always on. Not too loud and not to quiet it's a great place hang out with friends or even go on a date.

This place was deceptively large with its small arcade in the back and pool tables to the right of the entrance. It's a sports bar with lots of screens all around. The group I went with was a large 25 but they seated us quickly after we arrived to claim our reservation. Though it was a pizza place, I didn't feel like splitting a huge one with anyone so I settled on another one of their seemingly popular items - a Philly cheesesteak. Before I started on my entree, I shared an appetizer of mozzarella sticks with my friend. They were okay. They looked sort of like the frozen kind to me because they were shaped so roundly. My entree came with grilled vegetables which I picked at first because I didn't want them to get cold. They tasted like they were grilled on the same grill as the restaurant's burgers, which wasn't a bad thing but just surprising. I would have enjoyed them better if they hadn't been drenched in grease though. It was a nice selection of zucchini and yellow squash. As for the sandwich itself, it was quite a bit oily too. Luckily the bread was thick enough to soak the grease up from the meat so that I didn't have to hold onto an oily sandwich. I liked the sandwich quite well other than the oil because the cheese wasn't overwhelming and the steak was well-stacked. It was too bad that the place was a bit loud but what can one expect at a sports bar?

A big, single rectangular room, divided up into various cubicles/areas with tables and chairs and pool tables here and there, a video game arcade area, plus probably 10 TV screens for the sports broadcasts, and a big square bar in the middle of the room --- that's Shorebreak. You might think it would be bedlam when it's crowded, but it turns out to be anything but. Maybe because the average age of its customers is probably in the mid-20s (it's a favorite hangout for the local high school Jr/Sr non-drinker crowd, too), there's always a healthy, but not a deafening, hum of excitement and activity, which makes you feel like you're at a nice, happenin' kinda place, and definitely not in a pool hall or biker bar. The impression is one of a busy, friendly, family-type pizza place, that just happens to have a bunch of pool tables and TVs so you can watch your favorite game while you're chowing down on pizza and a Coke. No malts or ice cream sodas served, that I know of --- but the vibe is more of a big, overgrown malt shop, rather than a macho sports bar or pool hall. And the menu is pretty much like most other pizza places in the area, with maybe a little less attention being paid to designer pizzas and more exotic Italian offerings than in some of the more traditional Italian restaurants nearby. In addition to the pizza --- available with several different sauces --- the usual selection of burgers, wings, fries and a few salads are also available to round out the pretty predictable menu. Service is very good, and, given the layout of the restaurant into many far-flung seating areas within the building, the servers all get a fair amount of exercise keeping everyone fed and watered. With all the TVs, the slightly elevated noise level in the place is also predictable, but is not unpleasantly loud. So if you're looking to watch a game, shoot some pool and eat some pizza or wings, with a Coke or with a beer, Shorebreak should be a good place for you to visit. A very comfortable spot to hang for a few hours --- and no tatoos required.

I am from New Jersey and I am proud of that fact. I also know what good pizza is and when you grow up in and around outstanding Italian restaurants and pizzerias you get spoiled. Since moving for work has taken a few places that were good and more places that were not so much I am always in search for the constant go to... Pizza. Shorebreak has excellent Pizza. It brought back some great memories of home while I was in VA and if I ever come back, it will be on the list of places I go back to. "The Good" - It has a great vibe with the staff, everyone seems to be having fun and it is contagious. From the hostess that greets you to the servers that hook you up with your food to the girls at the takeout window... They are all smiles. - There are a ton of TVs and they have decent coverage from all the tables. - The beer selection is decent, not outstanding but not bad. - The Pizza is great, get the spicy sauce and enjoy. - Decent Pub Grub otherwise for the rest of the menu. - They have pool tables. - Sports Bar when it wants to be / needs to be. - They have a Pint Glass or a Football Shaped Glass that offers you a discount on the next adult beverage ; ) - Delivery if you are in the zone. "The Meh" - Nothing really meh... "The Bad" - Nothing really bad to comment on aside from the distance you have to travel to get here :).

A nice alternative to the chain sports bars like BWW and Hooters, and much better food! The waitresses are always super cute and provide really good service. Their uniforms are undoubtedly a tribute to their male customers - black skirts and referee shirts - but they work because they aren't as unforgiving as the orange underwear shorts at Hooters (I don't know about you, but I personally don't like seeing upper thigh fat and love handles jiggling around while I eat - or ever for that matter). Make sure to try the tuna bites!

In terms of a place to go to as a family, which seems to be one of their targets, I would not recommend. It may be great at night for adults but I have other places I would prefer for sports and/or drinks with less of a drive. We have gone numerous times despite the better judgment of my wife but that won't be happening again. Here are our thoughts. 1. We always get a Greek Salad but at $13 for an average size bowl of romaine lettuce with a few peppers and three or four olives it is not worth the cost. I would rather make the thirty minute drive to Fellini's and get a real Greek Salad (probably the best in the area). 2. Kid's meals for $5.99 without a drink. Add in a drink, tax and tip and you end up between $10 and $11 per kid. Mac n Cheese and apples for $6? Way too expensive for a sports bar/ restaurant. Cp's down the street offers better kid's and adult food at a more reasonable price with better service. 3. Service is normally average to poor. 4. The video games and tickets are a big attraction to the kids. The games often eat the kid's quarters and/or do not distribute the tickets. They are good about giving the missed tickets out but told my son and confirmed to me the machine not working when you put the money in is "part of the game." To tell this to a kid who robbed his piggy bank to play video games is wrong when it is not true. 5. Pizza is pretty good. I think it is the old Chico's recipe from the beach. They do offer a less spicy sauce which my kids prefer. When they offer the Sunday night special the price is good but a regular price of $14 for an average size pizza is steep. 6. Even their trademark special of bring your glass back for a special beer price is not worth it anymore. Overall Shorebreak is not worth what you spend for what you get in return. In this day and age with a restaurant on every corner there are better places to spend your money.

I figured it was about time to write a review of Shorebreak since we go here at least once a week. We did their special deal where you buy a pint glass and all your beer refills are $4. Having this deal definitely makes them our go-to place! At first, I really loved their pizza. However, the last 2 times I've ordered pizza, something tasted "off" about it. Usually I can't eat enough, but the last 2 times, I almost felt like I didn't want to keep eating it. I'm not sure if they changed their recipe, crust, cheese, or something else...I can't quite put my finger on it. As others have said, the signature sauce is pretty spicy. That's the sauce we usually go for though. If you can't handle spice, I would definitely recommend the sweet tomato. We had a bad experience with one of the bartenders (she was realllly rude) so now we always sit at one of the regular tables. We have always had a great experience with the waitresses! We enjoy the live music they usually have on the weekends. There is a small arcade for kids and a row of about 5 pool tables. Something for everyone!

Delivery, take out, or dine-in; this is my spot for pizza! If you frequent Shorebreak you will definitely want to invest in your own pint or football glass...I have a few of both :) It gives you discounts on beers and mixed drinks - can't beat it! During the week days they have a killer carry-out special featuring 1 pie for $8. Can't beat that! Add a few toppings and you're good to go. This special was a staple in my diet for a little while. Recently, I tried their thin crust pizza and it's awesome! Topped with their signature spicy sauce, cheese, and lots of vegetables it's the perfect combination. And I don't feel so bad for all the carbs I've eaten. Their Sam Adam's fried shrimp are a great appetizer. Shorebreak is great for all ages! They have all sorts of arcade games and pool tables and TONS of TVs to watch any sporting game you want. In the summer they deck out their patio with corn hole boards and bounce houses on the weekend. Definitely a locals spot in VB!!

One of the best sports bars I have ever been to! I have been here twice so far, and I plan to become a regular. Shorebreak is a ton of fun, especially on game day! Lots of TV's set to different games and sports, and when you are seated the hostess will ask if there is a specific game you want to watch. The food is fantastic! They have typical bar fare - burgers, pizza, wings, etc. - but also one of the best Cobb Salads I have ever had. The beer is cold. The service is fantastic, and the ambiance is exactly what you are looking for in a sports bar. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

I always have a good night out when I head to Shorebreak Pizza. It's casual, usually busy, but a good, fun crowd. I've never had any weirdos approach me at the bar there. It's chill. I guess that's why you just can't go wrong there. I usually sit at the bar with a friend and play PhotoHunt or play pool. I'm not much of a sports bar girl, but I had blast there during March Madness. Even though the bar was absolutely packed, they were able to accommodate everyone. There were plenty of large screen TVs for all the games and the service kept us happy. I've tried the pizza while at the bar and it's really good. I've never actually gone for dinner or lunch, but there are many tempting items on the menu. Judging from the pizza, I would definitely go back for food sometime. My friend had her 6-year-old son's birthday party there, so it's definitely a family place before the nightlife starts.

Hubby and I tried this place while in town...impressive food, servers (we had two because our waitress was training a new employee) were friendly but a little lacking on the beer knowledge. When my hubby asked about beers on tap (specifically Dos Equis Amber), she asked "is that the dark one?" Otherwise, a great place with excellent pizza and wings with a decent beer selection.

My first and only time ever eating at this restaurant. It is close to my house so I figured I would try it. We were greeted by a friendly host staff and immediately taken to a booth. Our server, Candice I believe, was very nice. We ordered fried pickles as an appetizer which weren't bad. The sauce was really delicious. Then my little sister ordered a chicken caesar salad, I had a chicken Caesar wrap with fries, and my friend got 10 wings. None of us were impressed. The chicken on the salad and in the wrap was dry and more similar to the shredded chicken you would expect on a chicken philly. There was no dressing in my wrap and had to ask for some "extra" on the side. The only item I ended up eating was my fries which were the only good food on the table. My friends wings were "soft and mushy" as he described them and tried to pawn them off to us. As we were staring at our disappointing meals, a manager asked the tables on either side of us how their experience was and passed over our table. We decided at this point that we would never come back and paid our $51 tab and left.

My friends and I found this place a few years ago when looking for a place to hold our fantasy football draft. They had large tables very accomodating to our needs. Great draft beer selection, delicious food and the best spot in Virginia Beach to watch the games kept us coming back every week. I've never been to a "sports bar" that was actually family friendly. If you have children, love to watch football or just want a cold beer and a slice; you have to check out this place.

Great place to hang out with friends to have a drink and play pool. The BBQ Chicken pizza is good without the pizza sauce.

Place was amazing. Good amount of beer on tap. Pizza was great and I had the old bay shrimp. The shrimp was out of this world. Great atmosphere, glad we went there!

Decent, not the best wings or pizza I've had. But they do show all the games I want so for that they get the third star.

I wanted to like this place, I really did. I love pizza and I love sports bars and I love delivery even more. My first experience with Shorebreak was pizza and I have to say I was immensely disappointed but I chalked that up to my refined palate - after all, I grew up in NYC and lived in Italy so I've become accustomed to some of the best pizza in the world, not many places can compete. The next time I decided to go with a Chicken Caesar Salad, again I was disappointed. This last time I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and it was by far the worst of all - it was like a tasteless grease patty on a soggy although toasted bun. The only redeeming quality is that the delivery guys are by far the friendliest I've ever encountered. So, I'm sorry Shorebreak, but three strikes and you're out.

By far the BEST pizza I have ever had. I always get their signature sauce, which has diced jalapenos in it!! I was a die hard Papa John's pizza fan until I was introduced to the holy goodness of Shorebreak Pizza. The only downside is that they have one size pizza and a small delivery zone other than that I always make the drive to this place a couple times a month.

Great wings. Okay pizza. But I'm from Chicago... Pretty good specials such as refillable football beer glasses, wing nights, buy one get one burgers, and free pool until 6pm during the week. Typical sports bar with all attractive female servers.

I love this place! Do you ever just want to go out somewhere low-key, have a few drinks, eat some decent food and play a few games? Shorebreak is your answer. Not only do they have awesome pizza and unbelievable drink specials ($3 dollar drinks all night?! You're kidding, right? No.) Add pool tables and tons of televisions blasting every game playing that day and you've got a fun and casual night out but close to home.

Now this is a cool pizza place! It's actually kind of a pizza place/ pool hall, and what's better than pizza and pool? Beer! They have that too, along with a full bar. They have some really good specials here throughout the week - they also do the same drink special that Hot Tuna does. If you buy one of their glasses, the first drink is $7 (draft beer, well liquor) and then every time you fill up after is only $3. You can mix and match what drinks you get as well. You get to take your pint glass home and if you remember to bring it with you next time then your drinks start at only $3. That's a pretty great deal - like happy hour all day, any day! This is also somewhat of a sports bar as they have several large television screens and play most of the major sporting events. I think the pool is a little on the expensive side, but the pizza specials and drink specials make up for it.

On a recent trip to Virgina Beach, some friends brought me here. So glad they did. One of the highlights of my trip! Can you say sports bar done RIGHT? Upon walking in, the first thing I noticed was how huge the place was. They have three different bar areas, numerous pool tables and plenty of room to sit. Big screen TVs are everywhere. After checking out their extensive menu, I decided on a slice of meat lover's pizza. It was huge, topped generously with all the meats they offer. The crust was thin and crunchy just the way I like it. That along with a pitcher of Yeungling made for a perfect meal! This will definitely be part of my itinerary next visit. Would love to see more sports bars like this in Southern California.

It's a funny thing about this place.... I use to think this place was super good, but it has gone down hill until I left VA Beach back in 08'. I first discovered this place for the 6.- pizzas and got a bunch of my buddies to come with me on wednesdays for the cheap hotwings night. We made it a ritual... for a couple of years and played pool. One thing about the wings... they will "go right through you." ;-) As soon as I left this place.... I'd have to speed to my apartment to hit the can. It would even roll right over until the next morning... driving to ODU and hitting the nearest gas station for a quick pit-stop. This was a weekly tradition (funny now that i think about it). The pizza is fairly decent and cheap on it's "special" night. The food is ridiculously over priced on regular nights and the service has gone down the drain. The skimpy referee outfits is filled in with HS girls it's almost sinful to even observe them. The HD projector on game night (NFL, NASCAR) is pretty cool, and the sound system they have there is pretty dope. However, it's crammed in so it's uncomfortable... so come in early or prepare to stand. This place was a hard 3.5 stars first... then rolled in to a soft 3.0 stars.... If you like over priced food and pool this is the place for you. Oh yeah parking is terrible and their arcade center needs an upgrade.
